The Veluws Diorama is a display of all animals living in the Veluwe area
The backgrounds are painted by Chris ten Bruggekate and are a representation of the surrounding nature: the Elspeet heath, the Hulshorst sands and the IJsselmeer meadows.
The diorama is run by Leo Kies jr. and Bea van 't Hul and is located in a traditional farm house in the village center.

Eibertjesdag, a yearly street market, is held at the Friday after Ascension day.
The name came from a local Vierhouten farmers wife who around 1850 walked to Nunspeet at weekdays to sell eggs.
The activities are:

-Demonstrations of handicrafts
-Fair
-Streets stalls with local merchandise

This place is a lunchroom/snackbar/ice cream parlor and maybe some more.
It's build in a round way and you have a great view on the Nunspeet local activities around.
Very clean, toilets in the basement (stairs only).
Favorite Dish: Broodje gezond (excellent!)

The Kringloopwinkel is a big shop led by volunteers where second hand stuff is sold.
Closing time at 4.30PM.
What to buy: I noticed a good selection of furniture, but I went for the records. Well, the record section was not attracting. I think 3/4 was religious or classic and half of the 45RPM were children records (Benny Vreden).
What to pay: Amazing low prices.

RTV Nunspeet is the local radio station, also transmitting via stream radio over the Internet. Expect everything from local church services till excellent popular music programs.
