Grand Cafe Kruller: Not so great
The restaurant is situated close to the Veluwe National Park in the not so very lively centre of Otterlo. The food's alright, but not more than what you expect your grandmother to cook (although slightly more modern, maybe).
The meat was tough, the flavours were combined in odd ways (spicy condiments which didn't suit the dish, for example). Because the food was so disappointing, we didn't even order desert.
Main dishes cost E14,50/USD 21,00
Favorite Dish: We had lunch there as well, that was fine. Then again, it would be really sad if a restaurant could spoil a sandwich, an omelette or a simple tomato soup...
Who needs a restaurant?: A tree ... a playground ... homemade food
The "zandverstuivingen" are ideal places to have a picknick and some offer even picknick tables on the terrain. This is always a wonderful day out and Ilja enjoys it even the most as he has this enormous sandbox to play in.
Favorite Dish: Irina's sandwiches, Paul's Gazpacho, some beverages, dairydrinks and fruits ... READY!
