The Buitenmolen in Zevenaar is the second oldest windmill in The Netherlands. The oldest is in the neighbouring city Zeddam. It was built between 1440 and 1450.
You can have a look inside on saturdays between 10 and 4 and also whenever the windmill is in use. You can still buy flower at the shop.

The Liemers Museum is a small yet lovely museum about the geographical area called Liemers. There are several collections on display in the museum on different topics. As far as I can remember they are: Religion, Archeology, Biology, The Tobacco Factory, Old Professions and the Second World War. There are also changing exhibitions. When I was there they had an exhibition on coffee, tea and cocoa.
The museum is opened from 2 to 5 on tuesdays, wednesday, thursdays, fridays and sundays. Admission to the museum is 2,50 Euros for adults. The museum is located just a few meters away from the train station.
