The Loo, from the name you might think that this is a public restroom, but it isn't!

It is a very nice palace, close to the city Apeldoorn.

We stayed in Zutphen, and it was too rainy to do the hike we planned, so we visited this Palace instead.

Besides the old and luxurious rooms of the palace, there are very well kept gardens to see.

A visit takes about 2-3 hours and is not cheap; 12.50 euros for adults and 4 euros for parking.

See Zutphen from the water! The local tourist office (VVV) offers sightseeing trips by boat on the Berkel river. A trip lasts about an hour and a half. The boats are propelled by generator, so they are very quiet, and accommodate up to 14 passengers. A trip is about EUR 3 p.p.
