This is a typical road for the area. In the Province of Groningen you will find many of these long straight roads, not too wide, with trees planted on either side. Through the trees you have a great view over the endless flat Groninger landscape.

Loppersum is located in the Province of Groningen in the north-eastern part of the country. It is about 22 kilometres north-east of the city of Groningen and about 14 kilometres south-west of the city of Delfzijl.

Yesss... there goes a train to Loppersum! And it goes about every half hour from Groningen to Delfzijl, so it is quite a good connection. In the evenings and it the weekends the train doesn't go as frequent though. The train ride from Groningen to Loppersum takes about 30 minutes.

Loppersum : The village where I used to live
I have actually no clue why I am writing this page, because I don't think Loppersum is that special. But I've lived here during most of my childhood, so I thought that I ought to make a page about......
Childhood memories........from the day I could be trusted on a bycicle almost once every week I cycled the 4 kms to this little place. And back home of course ;-). Loppersum is a nice enough village...
