This farm is a hundred years old and is opened all through the year.
In the holiday season they often open up for 3 weekends on a row for a special X-mas fair.
Table pieces can be bought, as x-mas decorations.
One can taste special cheeses and take the favourite home.
A special gesture for all guests during x-mas fair is a warm applejuice drink with herbs...mmm not bad at all :-)
Here you can find plants that are not for sale in an ordinary greenery.
Old farm plants, herbs and other are being sold here.
At the back of the farm decorative elements are places in a nice way, makes you wanna snoop and scoop some nice things.
There s also a conservatory, not opened to public on this specific day, but I guess they grow their special plants there.
What to buy: This is another statue I would have loved to take home with me and place somewhere in the garden. If only I had room to make a kind of meditative corner in my postage_stamp of a garden!
The church stands somewhat away from the main road Hereweg (in the old days road for the army) because the village moved somewhat to the south, away from the church to higher sandy ground.
Once Meeden had a little chapel but that has been replaced by the church we see now.
Favorite thing: Old glory, nowadays maintanance often forces owners to sell their property off but many a time farmers survive.
There s little beauty to discover here but old farms and a nice church.
To give ya an impression what Meeden looks like this photograph.
