As you saw on my page, there are a lot of sports you can do in Groningen like biking and canoeing. But besides that it is also a perfect spot to go skating.... when the weather permits it, that is.Just once in a couple a years it is possible to skate on the canals. And when that happened, I always tried to go to Groningen to skate on the canals. In the picture you can see me skating on the canal of Loppersum (the village where I used to live).
