If ever you might get lost in my neck of the woods, do not hesitate to contact me ... we might be able to hook up and I then could show you around ....
Do bring your bicycle though ;-) for I have no longer a car ... kidding of course, there s buses, trains, a car to lend ... or your car if you bring one! haha
Anything is possible .. as long as it is reasonable :-).

Both restaurants are pretty good, so I am told. So make your own choice.
De buren (The Neighbours) are down to earth, fun and you can feel at ease. Next to the restaurant there is a snackbar, take away or eat there.
Eten en Drinken (Food and Beverage) is recently renewed, it is somewhat more fancy than it colleague across the street.

Address: Rigth at the traffic lights, entering Ten Boer
Ten Boer is situated along the N360, the main road from Groningen to Delfzijl, and vice versa.
One can either reach Ten Boer by car, bicycle, bus or boat.
When on the bicycle there is a path that runs along the N360, not to pleasant to cycle on, so try to find the little path that runs through the countryside, it is about a good 500 m. to the north.

One day, late in the afternoon, I saw these sunrays, all I had to do was to open my front door and snap ... the positive thing of living rural: not too many building that can block the sun!

Favorite thing: Go out for a bicycle ride and watch agricultural life go downhill: farmers with but a small farm cannot survive always. Or they have to sell of their land so houses can be built where once their cattle grazed.
