    Baarlo, between the river Maas and the Peel is located between Venlo and Roermond. It is on the main provincial road, named after Napoleon. It is a quite place, with nice woods as well as farm lands. Ideal for walking, hiking, riding horse back or a bike.

    The town of Baarlo possesses an old watermill. It has been in use until the late 20th century, but has been restored to a couple of ages back. It can be seen working every Saturday from 10.00 to 12.00, because a lack of water.
