Visit National Park "De Meinweg". Trails of different lenght can be followed, and it has some of the most beautiful flora and fauna that you can find in the Netherlands.
Go all te way up, where you might encounter Holland's only venemous snake, the viper.
There are differe places, whee you can start your hike. Follow the signs "Venhof", a stable or "Bezoekerscentrum", which is the visitors-centre.

The "Friture" is a Dutch kind of snackbar.
De Aaj Meule, The old mill in English, serves all kinds of different snacks.
Some snacks can only be found in the south of the Netherlands.
A delicious example is: Frites Zuurvlees.
This is fried french fries with a sauce made of horse(the original) or cow, unions, sugarsirup, salt, pepper and some other ingredients.
Also deilcious is the homemade meatball, a lot bigger than most meatballs tourists know.
When trying typical Dutch food, a visit to "De Aaj Meule" is a must.

When visiting De Meinweg, a national park, be sure to use the parking areas.
Someties, when you park the car somewhere else, where no others cars are parked, windows are smashed and valuables are taken.
It happened to me once, and when walking my dog last week I noticed glass somewhere next to a road. Obvioulsy a carwindow smashed again.
Safe parking can be done at De Meinweg Visitors Center, camping "Het Elfemeer" and teh stables of "Venhof".
