ATLC Says: Thanks to VT member vtveen, I discovered some missing information:To get to the Kasteel Arcen from Venlo (nearest railway/bus station) to Arcen: by bus lines 83 and 85 (takes about 30 minutes).
ATLC Says: The castle gardens are easily accesible for the disabled. There are wheelchairs available at reception.

ATLC Says: Up the stairs in Arcen Castle and you'll find yourself on a whole floor filled with antiques and home decoration. Lovely browsing!

ATLC Says: On the first floor is a big shop with antiques, art and homedecoration.
ATLC Says: Unfortunately, the castle has no period style rooms but is used for parties, weddings and events. At the time of my visit there were students flowerarranging doing their exam pieces there so it was quite messy.In the cellar is a restaurant.
