If you visit this lovely white town, better be prepared for the only way to see the middleage part of Thorn is on foot.
The streets are narrow and besides that, if you were sitting in your car, you would not really see the village.
So go to the tourist information center and get a little booklet about walking through Thorn, you ll have fun finding the houses and reading about the former residents.

First I want to say that you have to get through Thorn on foot. One can rent "steps" (autopets) in a shop here, as well as bikes, but by foot you can explore the whole "white town" in a few hours time. The surrounding area is however also beautiful and worth visiting. Natural reserve "Koningssteen" can be seen from a bike (als to be rent in Thorn).
Getting to Thorn is easy, as it is deep in the South, just a few metres from the Belgian border. Around the place there are several parkingplaces where one can leave the car. From her the exploration starts. Tip: bring enough small money, the stupid parkingmetres only take exact money and the tariff is € 1,80.
