Great terrace, nice decoration and good ambience.
The terrace is decorated with plants, candles, flowers and funny stuff to create a Mexican atmosphere.
Dress Code: Casual and not to many (warm) clothes because the terrace has a great heating!!!!

I was in Berg en Terblijt on a Friday night, during a very busy weekend. Hotels were fully booked. And still it was very quiet at night. Every hotel has a bar but there is no real nightlife scene. The hotel next door seemed the busiest.

Valkenburg is also famous for its casino. The location of the casino, on top of the Cauberg, is awesome.
Holland Casino, Valkenburg has 325 playingmachines and 30 playing tables.

Visit the oldest pub in town: Grendelpoort. It is situated next to the citygate with the same name. The pub is est. in 1912. You can taste some great beers here, five different ones on tap. But they also serve some light snacks.
The pub is open untill 2 am. Out of season closed on tuesday.

Valkenburg IS a tourist town ,but a very pleasant one. There are busloads ,maybe British Schoolchildren touring the ruins,or German Retirees there for the Massive Spa, or American Gamblers visiting the Casino. The central part of town is full of attractive restaurants and pubs,a nice way to spend an evening looking for the perfect brew and people watching.
Its a busy town in the evening ,and an easy place to meet other people. Its also a nice town for an evenings walk, as just around the corner from the hustle-bustle can be quiet peaceful streets ,its also full of photo ops. for the cameraperson.

Nice bar/dancing/brasserie with heated terrace and dance floor.
The bar/dancing is mainly for people below 25 or 30 years old. But I still had a very good time :-)

On the slopes of th Cauberg you will find the open air theater. During summer there are different shows, musicals or theater. Mainly during the weekends.

Great terrace to lunch and sunbath at daytime. At night it will turn into a dancing-pub.

Just a great please to spend a weekend !!!
