Favorite thing: I was surprised to notice that Alphen has a museum, it is situated in the chapel of the village.
In this chapel you find all kind of objects found in and surround Alphen.
Two volunteers show you arround and can tell you many interesting things about the old days in the province North Brabant.
The museum is only open after you make an appointment with the Volunteers.

Favorite thing: Don't expect to much of this small village, what you see here on the picture shows almost the entire village.
It has a few shops, a bank a church and a small historical museum situated in the old chapel of the village.
However the surrounding of this village is beautiful for walking or cycling through the woods.
A few km from Alphen you find the town Baarle-Nassau which is famous of it’s Dutch/Belgium border that criss-cross through the town.
