This is one of the highlights of this place, a beer shop annex cafe. When I came here the first time (must have been in 1994) they had a huge choice of beers, mainly Belgian ones but also from more exotic countries. I used to come here regularly to buy some beers that were hard to find elsewhere. They are after all a bit expensive. More recently they cut down on the number of beers and now only have a relatively small choice, but good ones at that. At the back you can drink a few beers and have something to eat. Try the Oesterzwammen (a kind of mushroom that I don't know the English word of right now). And with good weather you can sit outside. You can do that on many spots in the village, but this is probably the best.

As you can see in this picture Nat is just on the border here, on the left it is the Netherlands and on the right it is Belgium. Thanks goodness they uses the Euro now, before I could never calculate with Belgium franks.

No this is not a mistake. This tip shouldn't be among the nightlife or restaurant ones, this is the must DO activity in Baarle Nassu especially if you're a beer lover.
This place serves over 500 types of beer and has a very unique menu. You can choose from different types of menu what kind of beer you'd like to drink. For an average price of 14 Euro you get 5 different types of beer which are being served to you from the lowest percent of alcohol to the highest.
If you don't like to take the menu you can always ask the waiter to recommend you some beers to drink. You won't be disapointed.
The Petrus Brouwershuis aslo has a nice tradition, a guest book in which visitors leave comments in their languages.
On a nice sunny day you'll have the opportunity to enjoy your beer on a terrace and if it's raining the inside of the brewery has enough space to accomodate a lot of people.

I am not really sure what there is to see here, well, when you walk around, just check out, some places are in the Netherlands and some are in Belgium. So, in a way it is very funny :-)
