If you want to do something in the evening, you have to go to Het Provoosthuis in Bergen op Zoom. Here you can play a game of snooker, carambole of pool at one of the 3 floors filled with tables.
Besides playing you can taste one of the many beers they sell here. They have beers from all over the world. You should really try a Kwak. This is a very strange Belgian beer.
One at saturdays it is necessary to reservate a table. At all the other days you can just come in and play.

De Teerkamer is a cafe and restaurant. It is situated perfectly at the Grote Markt in Bergen op Zoom. It is the only building at the southside of the market.
It is possible to eat at the Teerkamer, but most of the guest come there only to drink a beer and to eat some little snacks.
My favorite drink at the Teerkamer is a nice beer: Hoegaarden Grand Cru. And to eat you have to taste the Bittergarnituur, with typical Dutch fried snacks.

During the summertime there are a few nice activities outside like the Jazzweekend, the Bourgondische Krabbenfoor and theatre on the streets.
