Ginneken / Bouvigne castle, Breda

Favorite thing: I work in Breda and this castle is my neighbour,
isn't that great!
It is called castle Bouvigne and it dates from around 1425

Fondest memory: Directions to the castle:

by train: to central station Breda, after that by train taxi or city bus to Golden Tulip hotel Mastbosch.

By car: from Utrecht A27, turn Breda/Bavel. Follow the sign Mastbos?de Klokkenberg.
After the tunnel you enter traffic lights, after the traffic lights turn Mastbos? de Klokkenberg.
Left down the turn, follow this road about 500m, continue this road to the woods.

From Rotterdam: A16, turn Breda/Rijsbergen, after that turn Mastbos/de klokkenberg.
to the right down at the turn, follow this road for 500m to the woods.

Fondest memory: A nice hunting castle in the forests outside Breda. The building is now used as the head office of the Water Board. The gardens are really beautiful!

I lived at Breda, Ginneken with my children for maybe 4 months, great city with lots of beautifull nature, fantastic pubs and restaurants and events.
