Dante is a nice bar-restaurant located in the Grote Markt. We went there after a huge Breda meeting on October 11. Usually all the bars are closing their doors at 2 am, Dante was the only place that allowed us to stay a litlle longer. In this place VT member Kozzmozz made history by showing up for the meeting at 2am, anyone can beat it?
This was the place we ended our Saturday meeting in. We only had a few drinks but apparently this place is also nice for dinner. It has a quiet but not boring atmosphere - exactly what we wanted!
Staff was very friendly here. They let us sit here for ages even though they were cleaning up already.
Cafe Dante, is a nice place to drink a beer.
In the cafe itself there's artwork from Herman Brood.
There's one cafe Dante in Amsterdam too.
The one in Breda is situated at the market place (de Grote Markt). They have a friendly staff and a terrace where you can enjoy your drinks in summertime or even when it gets colder. They put those terrace heaters outside.

As long as your not naked you can get in. Most people are dressed casually.
Quite a nice place...it must have been an off night because there were not many people there, but I liked the place. Plus, they had Sambuca!! But, as with many places around here, they didn't quite serve it right. It was cold, and in a large glass. Oh well, I still enjoyed it, along with a glass of Pernod.
Dress Code:
None that I noticed, but it is a fairly nice place, so nice/casual is probably fine.
Dante is a really nice and not so crowded pub near the cathedral. Actually pubs already close at about 2am in the Netherlands but the staff of this pub was really cool and let us stay longer :-)
This restaurant is special cause it has an art gallery with paintings from a famous Dutch painter.
I visit this place with two VT friends
