For the children there is an adventure Maze.
This is the entrance to the maze. As you can see this entrance is made especially for the children. However parents are also allowed to join the smaller children. But it is not so easy to enter through the small gate for a grown-up.
Favorite thing: You can't get lost in this park, as on almost every crossroad there are signposts, and big maps of the park. That way it is easy to orientate, and to decide to go which direction to the next attraction.
Pardoes is the symbol of the Efteling park.
He has his own Avenue : the Pardoes Avenue, where every night passes the big parade.
This small court jester even has a girlfriend : Pardijntje.
On the picture you can see his statue.
Favorite thing: Near the Bobsled Course, there was kind of an Austrian village square. It was a very cosy place. Of course the snow made it a bit more as we were in Austria, there also was Austrian music. And different food stalls were selling big sausages and delicious pea soup.
In the Efteling they have original waste baskets.
You find these special baskets all over the park.
Special you think, oh yes, as these waste baskets speak, all the time these baskets are calling for paper: Papier Hier, Papier Hier (paper over here. . . )
And then once you have put a piece of waste in his mouth he thanks you.
You can imagine that is big fun for the children, they all want to put some paper in his mouth.
And like this the park stays clean.
I'm sure this is a common attraction but who loves splashing with waters!!
You'll probably get wet after the ride, it's real fun.
I like this rail ride..you'll see people walking down under.
Fondest memory: Good for 3 persons but one should be child, for adult is only 2 persons allowed.
Onather orchestra playing in the park were the Hagelheertles (the Lords of Hail).
Hans, Harry and Harold Hagel were playing nice tones and made us forget the cold temoeratures.
Favorite thing: Near the Carrousel Palace there was a beautiful Barrel-Organ playing beautiful music. I thnk that this kind of organs are also typical for Holland.
While I was walking in the park, I did meet this funny looking Pinguin orchestra.
They were playing a kind of South Pole Jazz music.
Even the big Vogel Rok is dressed up for the winter temperatures.
Vogel Rock is a high speed rollercoaster in the dark.
Favorite thing: Near the entrance we were welcomed by a giant Straw-man. And just before I entered the park, it started to snow. This snow gave the park a really winter sight. This snow made even more beautiful.
