We have traveled by airplane to Amsterdam, then from Schipol to Hertogenbosh by train and from the train station to the hotel by bus - no137.We recommend you to choose bus no.300, as faster than 137. We have spent about 45 minutes in the 137 :(
The bus station was at about 200 m to the hotel.
From the NH Hotel to the park, the taxi was 10 euro, but in one of the days we have just walked back from Efteling to the hotel and the trip was very nice, as you can see in our photos :)
Ideal for younger children, walking around the park is exhausting so this will save you from having to carry your tired child around the park.
It costs Euro 3 although some dishonest person pinched our trolley but on the whole it should be safe leaving it outside the attractions whilst you visit inside. I suggested that marking it may have made it less attractive to theiving fingers - perhaps next time
How do I get to De Efteling?
By car :
Drive to Tilburg, then follow the signs.
The private parking of De Efteling costs 6 euro/car.
By Train :
Take the train to Tilburg or 's Hertogenbosch, then take the shuttle bus.
More detailed information : www.efteling.nl
If you travel by train there is a special bus service from station 's-Hertogenbosch. On saterdays, sundays and on holidays you can take line 303 (efteling dienst)
Going back home, and tired to the whole day fun and excitement * The Efteling *.
It was a nice day trip.
It's easy to bring car to the Efteling..they have huge parking with letters per line so you won't get difficulties of finding your vehicle.
