This picture i made just 5 minutes walk from my home. Its the Beatrixcanal were some locals still do fish sometimes.
There used to be more traffic on the water here, mostly industrial orientated.
On the way from Gestel to Strijp u can bike or go by car to follow this canal upto Best and further...
8,4 km short sidecanal to the harbour of Eindhoven. Northwest of Eindhoven at Batadorp (Best) this canal splits from the Wilhelminacanal tothe South.
This route can be done by ships who have a lenght 63 mtrs, width 7,20 m and dept 1,90 mtrs.
