The Effenaar Cultureel Centrum De Effenaar has an extensive range of cultural activities: films, pop concerts and various events that have to do with music, art and culture. The Effenaar is also home to a pub that serves meals and on Saturday there is dancing in the Dance Department.

In the weekend it can be very crowded! Daytime its really nice to sit here on the terraces (on 2 sides because its located on a corner) in the sun having a drink and u can order some food if u like.
A lil expense when events taking place, prices go up in most pubs of this area.

Actually this is a cultural centre in Eindhoven. But every weekend there is something to do over here. I once was there for a concert of the Belgian band Novastar. And on another occasion I was there at a disco party with lots of attractions in the building. It were 2 good evenings to me. Effenaar. A factory and restaurant. Very relaxed place. Lot's of cool parties. 70's and 80's parties and very progressive house parties.
Definitely the best spot in Eindhoven.

Danssalon (also called the 'IT' of the South, because it's a bit like the IT in Amsterdam). Very dragqueen, trendy, club.

Even if you aren't going to see a band the bar is quite a pleasant place for a beer or two.
There is also a cafe with a few vegetarian options.
De Effenaar has bands that cover all musical tastes from death metal to dance.

Unique new nightlife club at the Stationsplein (former Danssalon). Named after the 3 daughters of Peter Stuyvesant.
On thursday 8th oct.2008 this new unique place is opened , no pics yet...
it has several different pubs/clubs inside, one is freezing cold and is downstairs, its the
Aprés-ski Icebar
where one can stay only 20 min. The staff changes seceral times because its minus 7!

Also downstairs in the cellar in the summer one can feel them selfs in tropic atmospheres
Cafe Hoppe, and The Drie Gezusters Pub and the Nachtsalon.
