On the square in front of the Catharina Church a skelet was found a few years ago from a boy age 14 yrs (Marcus of Eindhoven)who was burried here in medieval times (1300 ac).
In March 2005 they started digging again because more bodies from that time (1300ac) will be tested by international specialists from all over the world and ...they will do DNA tests which....maybe could deliver information for treatment on aidspatients...
Nico Arts, the city Archeologist will be in charge of this 1,5 yrs project together with Mick van Son, who was so nice to show and tell Robin 922 and me all about the history of the people who were berried here and will be digged out for research this month.
Special Webcams will be installed during the project.
People can follow all thats happening in a special room in this building and anyone in the world can follow it throught the internet..so looking forward:-)

his museum is so incredible build, an art object itself. Even without the artobjects worth a visit.
On January 17th. the Van Abbe was officially opened by the Queen of the Netherlands. On the picture the Queen and our major Mr. Welschen...(bad quality because its made with webcam from tv station)..i dont have picture yet of this renewed museum.
Architect: Abel Cahen Amsterdam.

As of Sunday January 19, 2003 the new Van Abbemuseum will be opened for public at last!
This renovation took some years and some millions...worthwhile i think.

My cousing Sasha from Ukraine played here with his group L.O.B.
This hardrockband were my guests for 2 weeks and we had a lot of fun and music for free all day long:-)
They asked me to organize at least 1 performance in the Netherlands and after about 6 months hard work it was organized with the org. of Virus
It was great to see them play and many enjoyed their music very much althouh the public didnt understand the text .
