The photos show different views of the cube homes designed by Piet Blom. When we arrived there we were taking some pictures and I aksed a group of people there if they lived there and if they would mind me asking a question. Turned out they did not live there, but were actors from the theatre "TSppeelhuis" and they invited us into the theatre which was closed. For sure this entire complex must be one of the most unusual living areas around, would have loved to talk to some people living there to see what it was like, maybe you will be luckier than we were.
Around 8 km South-West of the center of Helmond, near the place of Mierlo you can find the "Stabrechtse Heide". Its is a very special nature-area, which can only be entered by cyclists and pedestrians. You can make hikings for hours.
Just a few km North of Helmond in direction Gemert you can find the "Grootelse Heide" a nature park in which you can make free walking-tours. To preserve the park, they have put a few Scottish Cows walking free around which is not dangerous.
Around the city the tourist information office has a bycycle-trip around the city from about 37 km which is marked with signs. Yy can start everywhere around the route, but the start is on the corner of the Markt at the tourist-information office.
