The Efteling is a magical park for all ages with attractions that include a 750m super fast roller coaster called the Python which will attempt to disgorge your lunch through 2 loops and 2 corkscrews.
For something a little tamer there is also a 100 year old steam driven Carrousel Palace and many fairy tale attractions such as the Arabian Nights and Red Riding Hood.

Remember those bedtime fairytales that used to fascinate you as a child? A walk through the 'Fairy tale Forest' (Sprookjesbos) is a journey back to childhood, past scenes taken from well-known fairy tales as written by the world-famous Danish author Hans Christian Andersen.
The Sleeping Beauty, the Little Mermaid, Snow-White, Little Red Ridinghood, the Red Shoes... They are all there!!!

While I was waiting at one of the attractions, I watched a Mexican-style band perform and dance. Children were given drum sticks and could take part in this fiesta (see pic 2). Very entertaining!!

An indoor multicoloured, multicultural ride - bring an extra pair of eyes and ears...one pair of each just ain't enough to register everything!! (or bring up the patience to queue up for a 2nd ride)
At the moment, the Carnaval Festival has a special guest: Loeki the Lion, former star of the Dutch TV commercials!
