Half way along the main downtown street (Langestraat) is the 16th century Town Hall. Finished in 1520, the building and tower were restored to its original glory in 1913.

St. Joseph Kerk, catholic neo-Gothic Church built in 1909. We found meter parking on the street right beside the Church. Across the street, the bridge over the canal led to the city centre.
