    Many, many different shops (e.g. the local version of the famous Amsterdam warehouse "Bijenkorf"), including some bars and restaurants can be found here. Check out the website (Dutch) for more info, including a list of shops, opening times, parking info, a map etc...

    This is the biggest shopping center in the region!

    Open every first Sunday of the month as well.

    Amstelveen can be quite expensive, but there are shops for every budget.

  • Directions: Last stop of tram 5 from Amsterdam. Stop "Amstelveen Centrum" with metro 51. Bus 300 from Schiphol to Amsterdam, stop "Amstelveen Bus Station". Most parking is not free and make sure you do not park in a residential area where you need a parking permit!

    Every Friday there is a market from 09.00-16.00 on the main square (Stadsplein). There are about 200 stalls with a wide variety of products, ranging from food to plants and clothes.

    Every Tuesday a biological market is held from 09.00-15.00 at the Verlengde Rembrandsweg, next to the Stadsplein. You can get vegetables, diary, herbs and clothes here, among other things.
