On my first visit, I dont remember any of the bars.
On my second visit, we went in : (thanks go to Marleen for reminding me their names)
Prout in the Jordaan - fairly quiet local beer.
The Lux on Marnixstraat near Leidseplein - small but with a good crowd.
Irish bar Aran on Max Euweplein - good, but a bit blurred by then. Good Guiness and footy on TV.
Ebeling on the Overtoom, supposed to be busy but was not.

On my third visit, the only bar I caught the name of was 'hole in the wall', an Irish bar in the leidse plein area near the van gogh hostel. A pint with a very big head was 5.10 euros. Nothing great about the bar just s decent enough place for a pint, typical Irish style.
