Although you might find it a bit overdone and fake, there's no denying that Café Cuba has done a great deal to evoke the sultry spirit of Hemingway's Havana. The music is lively, as is the crowd. It's all very friendly and the mojito's are reasonably priced. Alcohol in general is quite cheap here, which is a great plus!
Dress Code: It's popular with the late-twenty and thirtysomething working crowd, so you get the picture.
Eating and Drinking: Café Cuba
A cosy small but long bar with a lot of b&w photos at the walls. Mixed guests from everywhere, quite good drinks, but when it´s full, you better order your drinks at the bar, the service was not that quick. Prices are ok. averaged.

Cafe Cuba: Decent bar with good rum
Cafe Cuba is a small bar located at Niewmarkt. There's nothing spectacular about the bar: it's rather small, service is just ok and the crowd is not that exciting.
They do however, have a good selection or rums; so I would come here from time to time when I was in the neighbourhood with friends towards the end of the night for a nightcap or two :)
