I went to this really cool club in Amsterdam. It's called AIR. I heard it's a new club so I just had to go there! Everybody was right, it is cool. I went there on a saturday night and the party was called Midnight Freaks. It was a night full of house and techhouse with famous and sometimes less famous DJ's. And the interior is so cool! They have this card system where you can get your own AIR card to put money on. You pay your locker and your drinks with this card, it's so easy because you're not walking around with al this money in your pockets. Also, they have this really cool dancefloor with all kinds of little lights in all kinds of colors. It looks sooo good:). Also, the staff there is really laid back and nice. Maybe it sounds a little lame, but I can't think of a negative thing about this club :) I'll come back next time!

Housed in a former Port Authority building slightly out of city center, Panama comprises a restaurant and a hip nightclub/theatre. The restaurant itself is a roomy affair, with large windows, high ceilings and subdued stylish decoration.
I went with my friend to café bubbles in Leidseplien and we were not allowed to enter. They told us it requires membership and when I asked them how we can get one.. he did not answer. However the bouncer was allowing other people to enter who were not having any membership. My friend told me it may be because we are Asians. If that is the case then this is highly racist of them. It is really sad to see such racist thinking still exist.
In the club agendas it is not always easy to determine which are the good clubs, so here are a couple of recommended clubs. Keep in mind that there are a lot more clubs in Amsterdam and my taste might not be yours! Check out the websites for more info and to make your own choice...

We called in this bar for a couple of drinks, 2 pints of Lager came to about £8, needless to say we only stopped for the one and then left quickly, An Irish bar about 300 yards away round a corner was our next stop and 2 pints in there only came to £5
Palladium is very favourite amongst youngs. It is just off the Leidseplein and is a very nice bar, disco type place.
Weekends are full and you may not find a place even to stand, the bar is another elegant example of Amsterdams nightlife and you can see very nice smart people all night long..
More coming soon..
Cafe Bubbels is a typical Dutch cafe to go out in the evening. People are all outgoing, drinking shots and dancing on crazy music, like the Dutch Jan Smit to or Tiesto or 70s/80s music. It is great fun!
Age-group: people in their 20's.
Cafe Bubbels is near the Leidse Plein in the street of the McDonalds.

Club 11 is a cool nightclub beside Central Station yet far away enough for tourists not to see it. Its a cool place with electro dj music, cheap entry and drinks but the best part is it is on the 11th floor of a building, in a huge room with 4 glass walls giving a great panoramic veiw of Amsterdam .

Wear what you like.
This club is one of the latest additions to the Amsterdam night life and a huge success. Here, you will find a mix of modern design and ancient Hong Kong, a large lounge area and a dance floor with excellent lightning and sound system
