This one is recommended for its hip clientele and is great for an early-evening snack, a casual gathering of friends or lazy Sunday cocktail-sipping. ARC has been my favourite bar for a good while now and I'm sure it's going to stay that way for quite another while.

This is a large three-in-one: grand-cafe during the day, where you can have a late breakfast, lunch, sip a coffee and read the papers, a restaurant during the evening, and a trendy bar at night, when the reading table collapses into the floor to form a dance floor. On the first night of my first trip to Amsterdam, Brian and Jeroen took me here for Cosmos before dinner. On my most recent trip, we stopped in just as the place had opened, for a couple before heading off to dinner. It's pretty spot with lots of different seating areas. There are small tables and large tables, mini bar-like counters w/bar stools and couches by picture windows that lead out to a really pretty garden.
This time around I tried a fun 'n fruity concoction that was a lot like Mojito and so pretty!
It's a Gay bar. Look your best!

The gay scene is amsterdam is big but not that varied, you have a lot of bars/clubs cattering for the leather and older crowd.
Otherwise it;s the queenie ones in bars on the amstel, they are nice, good ambience and mainly frequented by the Dutch which is a nice change. Enuff of the yanks or the brits!! JOKE!!!! Leave a Comment Theme: Adult Spot
