These kroketten (I have no idea how to translate this) taste far better than they look. If you are visiting Amsterdam for the first time, don't mis this.
Favorite Dish: Kroketten with bread
Try a dutch Hot Dog, most dutch dogs are well trained, so their meat is juicy and deliscious. You can eat this with mustard or with ketchup.
Favorite Dish: 'local food' at the Dam
Formerally known as Manhattan Pizza is now Pizza M Slice, but still just as good. .
Favorite Dish: Excellent kaas (cheese) pizza and they also have fried chicken legs and thighs that are quite tasty

Favorite Dish: Tandoori Chicken, peppers & pineapple Pizza .. hmmmm yummy! And the garlic bread is tasty as well!
Have Surinamese food - very exotic! There are hundreds of little Surinamese take away restaurants in Amsterdam.
Favorite Dish: Roti - consisting of potatoes, vegetables, chicken, egg, bread and a light curry sauce.
Delicious sweet cookies with caramel drizzeling from between them, YUMMY!
Favorite Dish: Stroopenwaffele and Stroopkoeken
The breakfast is superb, plenty of food and fruits. We really enjoyed the breakfast here, the best we had during our European tour. The cheese is also fabulous.
With so many choices it is hard to decide which ones to try. Just in this photos alone you can see Pizza, Thai, Indian, Fast Food, Italian and Chinese. Take your pick!

No menu, they serve you what they feel like, AND IT'S ALWAYS GOOD!
Favorite Dish: There is no menu. You eat what they friggin tell you. Believe me, it's much better than it sounds.
There are just so many places to choose from, you can get almost anything you want, and most of it even tastes good.
So make a pick and enjoy the food.
When in the netherlands you must have Fries with Mayonaisse. If you looked as happy as this guy after wouldnt you eat them? :)
Do try the chips and mayonaise ...and the breakfasts...once. I liked the former, and not the latter, but you've gotta give it a go.
