This restaurant had more the feel of a U.S. style eatery or bar than the canal house type local ones. Partly due to its size and also the interior ambience and decor. A good spot for breakfast before starting a day's adventures, but also open for and serving lunch and dinner and with a bar area as well. Located just to the right and around the first leg of the square when exiting the front of the Krasnapolsky hotel. Nice outside sitting area to people-watch and have a bite or a drink in decent weather.
Favorite Dish: Pretty much something for everyone here, with three main breakfast choices of American, English, and French styles, with individual items available as well. I had read a bit about people's experiences when visiting this city with what they perceived as undercooked bacon with a breakfast meal compared to what they were used to, and I would have to agree. Picture it just sorta warmed up rather than cooked, and in our case remained uneaten. Don't let that put you off, though. Everything else was fine, and their croissants were especially delicious.
