I found Restaurant Puri Mas reccomended here on virtualtourist.com.
I wouldn’t.
We had the basic rijsttafel (=rice table). 15 different things sunds like a lot for just under €20,- but of course you never get more than you pay for …
The shrimp-crisps (Krupuk), 2 salads (they use the term loosely .. ), 1 dipping sauce and 2 tiny bowls of sprinkles all count as dishes.
The Krupuk seems to be complimentary in the way bread sometimes is. It is served upon arrival, but is listed among the many dishes of the rijsttafel. It was a small basket of both garlic-kroepoek and barbeque flavoured crisps – and was probably supposed to be the starter.
Two impressively full trays of dishes, served by the extremely polite staff, actually did fit on the table – followed by a descriptive recommendation of which order to eat them in.
The meal is filling, but none of the dishes really stand out – and doesn’t justify the price of €20. One walks away with a feeling the money could have been spent better.
Favorite Dish: The chicken saté was nice, and so was the beef dish Daging Rendang (described as very spicy, which it wasn’t). We had 2 other meat-dishes, Kari Ayam (chicken curry), and Babi Kecap (pork in ketjap-sauce). The rest of the dishes were Telor Bumbu Bali (2 egg halves in a spicy sauce), Sambel Goreng Boncis (beans in spicy sauce), and Gado Gado salad. The small sides were Acar Kuning (sweetsour, shredded vegetables), Sambel Goreng Kentang (fried, grated potatoes), Serundeng (finely shredded, fried coconut), and Sambel (chilli sauce), and 2 kinds of rice: Nasi Putih (white rice) and Nasi Goreng (fried rice). The "dessert" was Pisang Goreng (2 slices of fried banana).

This is by far the best indonesian I ever tasted, in Amsterdam at least. The place is divided in two areas, smoking and not, atmosphere is very quiet even with lot of people around, and the service is excellent, as well as the quality of food, and the price is beyond the average and therefore reasonable.

Puri Mas
Puri Mas is famous for its Rijsttafel, a feast of mild to strongly spiced Indonesian dishes.
Rijsttafel means Rice Table, an array of many dishes in small portions that covers the whole table. Although
it is a Dutch idea, its origins are clearly Indonesian and it was known at one time as Makan Besar.
Indonesian people traditionally take a meal from a central plate of steamed or fried rice with other dishes
arranged around it. Usually including some fish or meat, a vegetable dish, and a spicy sauce known as
sambel. The early Dutch planters, with their great appetites, added more and more dishes and so the
Rijsttafel originated. Rijsttafel was served on the plantations and at home parties. Later it was combined with hotel menus, and each dish served seperately by a waiter. There are many variations on the Rijsttafel. And each variation consists of a wide range of carefully selected dishes.
Favorite Dish: Rijsttafel (Rice Table)
