Fame music is one of the biggest entertainment stores in The Netherlands, specialised in music. You can compare it to the Brittish HMV or Virgin. There are a couple of floor filled with CD's, singles, vinyl, DVD's and videos. Not only is there a wide variety of styles available, you'll also find great import records here that you can't buy in the regular shops.
FAME was the biggest CD shop of Amsterdam. All styles, ticket service, books, shirt; you name it.

The shop I recommend is "Fame". I am a big movies fan so I did enjoy their wide range of dvd's. Also was intrested in some Cd's with world music - Indian, Arabic, Latin American, flamenco etc. I got what I wanted and much more!
What to buy: Cds. Dvds.
What to pay: Prices vary but there is a good deal of dvds for only 5-7 Eur, which is cheaper than in Warsaw, provided U want to buy legal stuff.
