  • Raw Materials: The nicest recycled, industrial & old furniture

The shop is in the center of Amsterdam, on the Rozengracht. Close to the Anne Frank House and the canals. The shop is special because all the furniture and accessories are old, re-used or made from recycled materials like wood or iron. It's edgy, industrial, ethnic and raw, just like the name. They change their interior every week and the styling is amazing! You should go see if you're a fan of interior decorating and really nice and special stuff, no one else has.

What to buy: Special interior products from different countries all over the world

What to pay: Medium prizes, not very low, not very high, but worth it because it's all authentic!

    Maranon -Hammocks: Ultimate laziness

    Shop entrance

This shop nothing but hammocks in all sizes, colors and cloth choices. If you can´t find it here, then i am afraid you will not anywhere.

To me it looked the ultimate thing to have in the garden. But sadly enough we have just a small garden.
Although if i ask to my dad to tear the shed down, remove some shrubs......

What to buy: A hammock of course. They also sell poles to put them on.

A very large, but pleasant shopping mall which was dedicated to furniture and home design. There were a number of cafes and restaurants and all were very busy. The centre also has a very large car parking facility attached to it. there are 4 floors and lots to see!

    Villa ArenA

It is with its 75.000 m2 and more than 80 home furnishing and interior decoration stores the largest ‘shopping mall’ (for furnishing and interior decoration) in Europe. The stores are spread over 4 floors and the mall is open everyday except on Sunday’s (with some exceptions).
It has own parking lot (for 2.500 cars) and is also easily accessible by public transport.

What to pay: Every amount - it is up to you.

    the ikea store

Walked many miles, asking for directions... Finally i see a familiar blue and yellow pattern!

Its been a favourite with me for a while now- ikea. For its design, and the value for money. Functional and sleek, its exactly what i`m always on the look out for...

What to buy: My favourite sections are always the lamps, clocks etc. Also these are usually things i can carry all the way home!
Also, remember to pick up the latest ikea catalogue! (Was in dutch here, but who cares!:P)

What to pay: Its always great value for money... It dosent costs me more than what i`d pay in Delhi for something somewhat similar.
