It should be great, just don't do it in the rain as we did. We couldn't get many photos, although we did manage to get a few.
I joined the canal boat tour. The day pass costed 16 euro (valid till 12 noon nex day!). The canal boat will travel around the city, so you could just hop on and off to the places you want to visit!
you can see beautiful, artistic and time-honored buildings along the street from the cruiser on canal.
During the last meeting with Dr. Firas and Sachara in Dec.2004 we took a boattour, just accross the Central Station.
The tour lasted about 1 hour. Its nice and comfortable and not 2 expensive.
One of the loviest ways to see this city and hear about its history. Everytime I visit Amsterdam you can bet your bottom dollar that I would be doing a boat trip. Just love it.
You can use many hours on the boats for tourists. This you must do. This was my favourite .The citty was not so clean...but the buildings sooooo beautiful
The best I could do was to get five bridges fitted into my pic. It is absolutely amazing to see this site for real.
You must take a canal cruise in Amsterdam. It's the best way to see the city from it's claim to fame - the canals!
One afternoon we decided to take a boat tour through the canals. It was really nice & relaxing, and I recommend it as a way to see the city through the canals.
Taking a canall cruise is very relexing and enjoyable. I am told that you suppose to see seven bridges all aligned in a row from this shot. I apologize for the poor quality of scanning.
it is not cheap and prety stupid but its a great way to get to know the city when u first arrive there...gives u a clue...
An International Meeting Place - aboard our canal boat with friends from the hostel (USA, CAN, AUS).
Boats leave from the front of central station, along Damrak and Rokin & also in the area near the Rijks Museum. They charge around 6 Euros for one hour cruise.
take a canal tour thru some of Amsterdams most interesting parts.
People reccomended it highly to me, but i was way too tight on time:(
another time maybe...
Definitely take a canal boat cruise, very nice change of pace, slow and leisurely.
Unique view of the city and a way to get great photos, weather permitting-of course:)!
