J.Lo in wax @ Maddame Tussaud by codrutz Amsterdam is home for the most famous Madame Tussaud exposition of wax statues museum. The network of Madame Tussaud museums includes: London, New York, Las Vegas, Hong Kong and the one in Amsterdam. I must warn you that a visit to Madame Tussaud's wax museum isn't particulary cheap, in fact it was a lot for my budget, that's 23EUR(!) for an adult person and 17,5EUR(!) for 5-15 childrens. Beyond that price, the wax museum is wonderful, with the copies of the real life actors, singers, royalties and other celebrities (see full list here) that you can't distinguish from the real life. Great work from the people making the copies. Leave a Comment

by micas_pt In Dam Square you'll also find Madame Tussaud's Museum. This Museum depicts personalities in wax, same as the one in London. It also shows how was Amsterdam a few centuries ago and how it might be in the future. I didn't visit, since this isn't my favourite kind of Museum and as i only had some hours in Amsterdam i thought i should visit other places than Wax Museum... Anyway for those interested in wax figures i leave this info here. Leave a Comment

The prominent presence of Madam Tussaud on the Dam by Pavlik_NL On the Dam-square the Wax-museum of Madam Tussaud deserves some extra attention. In here there is a lot of attention for Dutch history and present fame. There is a section explaning about the becoming of The Netherlands and you can meet the Dutch painters in person. Furthermore Dutch royalty and politicians as well as famous persons from television or music can be seen (though many of you foreigners now are seeking long long time to come up with Jean Claude Vandamme, who actually is a Belgian!) Madam Tussaud is definately interesting to visit on a rainy day. Leave a Comment

The Madame Tussauds wax museum, in the Dam, apparently is a very funny and impressive museum as his "father museum" is in London. In fact it is a sucursal of the well-know British museum, which as open different branches not only the Amsterdam, but also in Berlin, New York, Shanghai... I didn't visit it because I prefered to do more typical Dutch things but I would like to do it later if I'll return to the city. There is a big circular window on top of its façade where you can see visitors there doing funny dancings to their "public" in the Dam. I don't know if there is an advertisement there or not, but almost everybody was doing some funny thing! Leave a Comment

Madame Tussauds Scenerama by martin_nl The wax museum of Amsterdam is slightly smaller than the one in London. However its still nice to see how all the was statues are made. There is so much detail to all of them. There are some very nice settings. You can have your picture taken with for example Arnold Schwarzenegger. Leave a Comment

Madame Tussauds by Zlur Here you will find wax figures which show Dutch Culture, from history till today, including the Dutch Royal Family, popstars and so on.... It's fun if you've never been to a Madame Tussauds before, but if you've been before anywhere else in the world, it's not really worth going!! Most of the figures are the same. It's about 12 Euros to get in, for a single adult - on entrance they snap a free photo for you with Arnold Schwazenager, which you collect on your way out! :) Leave a Comment

Wax House by fishandchips Like the London version, this place has a vast array of famous people including a few locals & royals. Not really my 'cup-of-tea' but an easy way to kill some time before wandering off to catch your train at Central Station Leave a Comment

OMG..JLO...What's up girl! by El_Cookie I love this place (should I get a life?...LOL). After the 23 Euros that it costs to go in there I was defintely expecting it to be good., otherwise I would have asked for my money back. It was awesome. I had a nice surprise that I had not read about and I won't mention it so I won't spoil it for you. The wax figures look so real that I had to take a picture with JLO, Julia Roberts, Jessica Simpson and many others.
