It`s every year, April 30th and...dutch people go literally MAD! Dance, music, concerts, food, drink, selling your own old stuff on the streets and...don`t forget to wear orange clothes!
The Royal Palace and Dam Square
The Queen doesn't live here, but uses it to welcome other kings and presidents and the likes and it is used for exhibitions.
The Royal Palace is situaded at the "Dam" square. It doesn't seem very royal, and may not even look like a palace at all. Jacob van Campen designed this building.
Visit the 'Paleis op de Dam' (the palace on the Damsquare)
The back of the Royal Palace. Tom told me that the world boll on the back of Atlas is weighing 500 kg. And then I should complain that my day-backpack is too heavy . . . .
Look at (and inside) some of the historical buildings. For example the royal palace at 'de Dam' (Damsquare).
Go inside and find an exposition (changes regularly).
