Kind of a Dutch national museum with a lot of Rembrandt, including "The Night Watch." Not as big as it looks as I understand there is some renovation but still worth the time.

I went to the Rijks on my first full day in Amsterdam. It was sooooo cold but clear and beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed the Rijks. You could spend several days just roaming around this museum.

You can run through this musuem. Beware, the best dutch art is in the Prado Museum in Madrid - I've been there.

A great collection of paintings from the old Dutch master, from what we call in Holland The Golden Age.
    There are allways special exhibitions.

If you have enough time: Go to the Rijksmuseum with all the Rembrandt paintings etc. Unfortunately I haven't had the time so far - just had a look from the (amazingly beautiful!) outside!
