Just warning you guys: make sure you pay your ticket for public transport! There are often ticket inspectors who are standing spontainiously in front of you. If you don't have one it'll cost you 30 euros!
Even worse is not to pay for your parking ticket. It can bring you a wheel clamp. And it'll cost you a lot of money and time to let it remove. Make sure you take a good look around to see signs or payingmachines. It's payed parking almost everywhere in Amsterdam.
International Raildesk at Centraal Station does NOT provide a reservation service for other countries. It is extremley annoying when you are told they do by the queue ticket issuer, then you waste 1 hour of your day in Amsterdam waiting in a queue before the woman at the desk tells you this. Book your reservations by telephone.
