Enkhuizen Things to Do

A monument whichwas used as a prison for just 2 persons...wow.

Build in 1621, insde on every floor two cells, there are still some torcher instruments to be seen.

Zuiderzee Museum including some goats. The goats are just goats. The buildings are historical buildings that have been rebuilt on the museum grounds.

Pleasant walks along the canals in Enkhuizen. You'll notice all kinds of interesting old buildings and facades.

near the Dromedaris u will find a small building in which all kind of info is to be seen about the story of the Enkhuizer Almanak...

De Drommedaris is an old town gate, dating from 1540. It's a really impressive building, and perhaps the best-known symbol of the town. Inside is a cultural centre, with a bar.

This is the big eye catcher in Enkhuizend. Its the Dromedaris, it was once part of the fortifications. From here you walk either into the old city center or out to the harbours.

This looked so cute!!! All those little wooden shoes of the children in a row in the hallway. I almost could hear them in the classroom, saying the "aap, noot, mies".
