The restaurant is set in a very old building on the Spaarne. It was opened about a year ago, and since then it is famous for its food and its concept. It is very special to eat here since every day there is a new menu. If you want to know what you're having you can check the website (dutch only) where at 15:30 the menu of that day will be available.
There are 10 dishes every evening at set times. Every 30 minutes a new course. Everyone has the same courses at the same time. The first course is at 18:00 and the next one at 18:30. Each course is 7 EUR. The whole evening you can decide if you want that particulat course or not. So you can adjust it to your own budget. If you don't like a course you can skip it, and take a wine instead.
The interior is decorated very nice and the whole evening they play lounge music. Almost every evening the restaurant is fully booked, so make a reservation in advance. Now it is even more important to book in advance since the restaurant went from place 87 to 40 of the 100 best restaurants in the Netherlands!!!
Favorite Dish: There is no favourite dish, since every night the menu changes.
After a tiny bit of research on the internet my girlfriend and me decided to have dinner at lambermon's and it turned out to be a truly great experience. The personnel was helpful throughout the whole night at a level one can often dream of in germany...friendly, just there when you need them, explained all the courses,... and since 10 courses are hardly manageable they were happy to divide one ordered course into two 'half' portions on the plate. Loved this place!
The food was not inventive but very, very high quality nice food and the amount of good-tasting fish courses amongst them should be mentioned!
So, if you are in for a nice, long (!) meal in a great place...go to Lambermon's!
[in june 2007 one course was priced at € 9,50 and the wine with it at € 4,75...either is voluntary at any time though...]
Favorite Dish: well, it changes daily so check on their website in the afternoon on the day you go....
