Paviljoen Noordzee is a bar/restaurant at the dunes of IJmuiden aan Zee.
There is an outside terrace and a spacious bar area and 2 (party) rooms.

Strandpaviljoen Zuidpier is a place for everyone, including children.
It's located at the widest part of the beach with a small protected nature area in the dunes, a lookoff to the IJmuiden Piers with ever busy shipping.
The nearby beach is split into a part for activities (like kite flying) and a part for sun bathers and swimmers.
Zilt aan Zee is a restaurant located at the top of the dunes at IJmuiden aan zee, overlooking the South Beach. The restaurant has many seafood dishes, but also non-seafood dishes.

Restaurant Kop van de Haven is situated at the entrance of the Main harbour and the Northsea canal with a view a the Fortress Island and Northsea.
It's been constructed in 1985 on the foundations of a WWII bunker.
There's free parking (!) and for the rest it's eat and anjoy the view.
Big ships en route to/from Amsterdam are passing on a regular basis.

Sea air makes hungry that is no secret. So therefore there are a few places on the beach were you can get, coffee, icecreams, snacks etc.
On the start of the pier is a more sophiscated restaurant. For a decent meal but also of course a coffee with applepie. Its custom to take coffee with applepie when going to the beach.
Kota Radja is a a well-known Chinese restaurant with decades of good food service.
Take-away service available.

The Dutch Admirals is a grand café started as the Yacht club for the adjacent Marina.
