I've been to the Blue Teahouse with my boyfriend every day while on a short break in Amsterdam. It's set in the middle of beautiful Vondelpark and is so cosy and relaxed, and by day it's completely surrounded by trees and gorgeous views of the park and the sun shining through the stained windows adds a special effect. By night, you can relax with a drink while chilled out music plays in the background and a disco ball spreads stars on the walls. The staff are very friendly, teas and food are good and stopping by the Blue Teahouse is a perfect way to stop for a rest while wandering throught the park and sightseeing.

The Melkhuis (Milkhouse) dates from 1874 and belonged to a farm where 25 cows were held.
The meadow is transformed into a children's playground.

The terras and the basement cafe of the film museum are great. There is self service at busy times, but it is an interesting people watching spot.
You even might encouter some VT-members!
