It's a great adventure sport, I've have a blokart myself and goes a lot to the beach of Wijk aan Zee. great wide beach and just fun to do it!

To get introduced to this adventure sport, its easy to visit one of the centres in the Netherlands. You can try out sports, for example blokart sailing, kiting catamaran sailing or on the waves with a RIB-Powerboat.

Shopaholics in the entire region (and that might even include The Hague, Rotterdam and Amsterdam!) turn to Beverwijk and the Beverwijk Bazaar, huge shopping mall with several halls, e.g. 'Black Market', Grand Bazaar, Oriental Market, Computer Market, and the new 'China Town'. We even drove all the way from Nijmegen (approx. 150 kilometers) just to visit this place. Adults pay 2 euro entrance fee.

What to buy: Almost anything can be bought in Beverwijk: clothes, shoes, computers, oriental food. Here's a picture of Roy with some fishing gear. At the end of the day, we drove back home with shoes and jeans, recordable CDs, shirts with short sleeves, skin moisturizer ... maybe some other items that slipped my mind.
