Occasionally Zandvoort hosts car racing events, mainly in the summer, but also during other months of the year. If you're not into motor sports, it's best to avoid the place during those days as the traffic in, around, to and from Zandvoort can be anything from annoying to terrible. And the whole place is noisy.
