The historical building as been transformed into the grand café with much care and it's an protected landmark.
Inside you find the old book cases still filled with books, which gives some of the the rooms their unique character.
The central bar is a local meeting point and always busy and full of action.
Outside you can sit on the terras and watch the traffic heading to or coming from the IJssel river ferry.
Inside, besides a drink you can enjoy the special seasonal menu's in one of the side rooms. One advice, make a reservation if you want to eat here.
