Deventer is great fir walking. There are several walking routes for the old city.
A stroll along the IJssel river or a walk through the Bergkwartier city quarter are just a few of the possibilities.
Deventer is part of the Hanze cities hiking route,
Equipment: Walking shoes (mind the cobble stones at some parts of the city).

Bowling in Party and Bowling Centre De Worp. Great fun with the Brink family, family members of my mother-in-law. My score was 123 (10 rounds), I know it's not an awful lot for professionals, but for me it was just one point below my (registered) all time high! De Worp is located just across the river IJssel from the town of Deventer in a small village called Steenenkamer.
Open Monday through Saturday 2:00 pm to 1:00 am, Sundays 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm
