It's a restaurant end winehouse.
Most of the food on the menu originates from local farmers.

La Cuisine is a restaurant and winehouse managed by Marc & Séverine.
The restaurant is member of the "Twents Wijn Genootschap".
The restaurants has a cookclub for up to 20 persons and workshops.

MAC Berlijn was a Media Art Café, a meeting place for creative artists.
The café offered the possibility to exhibit new media work for everyone. This will be continued by the new owners at the Forum Café .
2012: The building is taken over by La Cucina, an Italian restaurant with the Forum Café .

In 2008 the former local tourist office (VVV) building was converted into restaurant Mangú in no time. Max Rodrigues en Gina Veen were candidates in the RTL TV show “Mijn Tent Is Top” and were assited by Herman den Blijker in setting up their business. Although they became the first drop outs in the TV show; their restaurant is a stayed. But business slowed down and the restaurant was sold to Guud Brandriet in 2009.
In october 2010 the restaurant reopened as Japanese restaurant Yuki.
2012 Update. Total reconstruction of the building. It's now Café Copa Cabana a.k.a. a Tapas Bar.

Restaurant De Fusting started at the Hengelosestraat. in a converted row house. From the outside it's hard to see what the interior offers, but be assured, this building houses one of the most popular restaurants in town.
In the mean time the restaurant opened a second location at the Zuiderhagen downtown at the location where another popular restaurant - Sam Sam- started before, called De Fusting Downtown. This down town restaurant was taken over by the manager Roy van Hemert in november 2011, the name changed into Down Town.
Good quality food for a reasonable price in an easy setting.

Q-Linair was started in 2006 at a cornerhouse just East of downtown in a typical Enschede quarter. The menu offers a surprising combination of world food. Combinations of the French, Italian, Greek and Asian kitchens are possible. Ordering a vegetarian meal ios no problem.

Helpfulness
It is a really nice decorated restaurant with many things from Australia. We visited the restaurant before our trip to Australia to get in touch with the country and taste some REAL Australian food.
We ate Kangaroo, Crocodile and Emoe meat. It tasted really good especially the emoe.
We really liked the atmosphere, very local and Australian!
It just moved from Denekamp to the city-centre of Oldenzaal. I haven't been to the new location yet, but I think It looks just as nice!
Favorite Dish: We really liked the steaks we ordered, I think it's called the Bushtucker or the Aussiemix.

Fred & Douwe is a modern city lounge that serves brunches, lunches and dinners.
Also good for an in between stopover for a drink and a snack.
2010 Update: The placed went out of business at the end of the year. From January 2011 the business will be taken over and change its name.
